Pro Ana

The internet is full of some pretty twisted things, but this takes the freaking cake. There's a growing community of people finding support in an underground movement that promotes anorexia. They call her Ana, and she is the subject of prayers, poetry, and even an anorexic creed. When I read the AP story, I decided to visit some of these sites. Oddly enough, none of them feature pictorials of people who have successfully reached their target weight with Ana's help. I think that's because most of them are dead. These websites strongly discourage any comments criticizing Ana and their chosen lifestyle. Below are some links. I want these webmasters inundated with mail. It's the most appropriate thing for them, absent a firing squad.
