More Yapping from Babs

This just in from Newsmax. Apparently Barbara Streisand has a website, and people actually read it. She seems to think Bush has a lot in common with Herman Goering. Kudos to you Babs. It shows some knowledge of history. Most idiot liberal shills compare him to Hitler. Most probably wouldn't even know who Hermann Goering was. He was the Reichsmarchel of the Luftwaffe, and in charge of the "final solution." Bush was an air national guard pilot, so I can see a common thread there. But that's about it.
Babs according to Newsmax:

"Bush's actions remind me of Herman Goering's quote during the Nuremberg Trials, where he stated: '...it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship.'"

"Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders," said Goering, according to the disgruntled songstress. "All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism. ..."

Well, Babs, I've got to hand it to you. Your penchant for non-sequiturs is impressive. But you fail to see one important point: We were attacked by radical islamists. The nazis were lying about the jews and the perceived jewish threat. Many of the jews that ended up in the concentration camps had served in the German military during the first world war. Many of them chose not to flee the country because of strong nationalist sentiment for their homeland. There is a difference. On the one hand, you've got a president going to war to protect his people from a very real threat. On the other hand, you've got a war criminal who is responsible for millions of deaths in concentration camps. Certainly she sees the difference. This is nothing more than a partisan, ad-hominem attack. You expect that sort of thing from her. It's dis-heartening, however, for such a prominent jewish figure to marginalize the holocaust in this way.
